Maple Walnut Brittle

We've made good on our threat and made Maple Walnut Brittle! This awesome brittle contains crunchy walnuts and a hint of maple. Our brittle is thin and crispy - just the way our grandfather always made it. Our brittle is made with pure ingredients that you probably keep in your kitchen: sugar, corn syrup, salt and baking soda and of course, lots of nuts. The maple flavoring adds moisture to the batch so it is more vulnerable to stickiness. If that happens, refrigerating it may help.
